Fall Crafts
I hope to be posting several Fall crafts in the weeks to come. We were just at Wildwood Nature Center this morning and got some great craft ideas there. I highly recommend visiting the actual nature center and talking a walk. They have lots of visual and hands-on activities, all free, inside the center. Some things you can do there, and others you can take home.
This craft came from "Toddler Busy Book". They are meant to be bag pumpkins, but at the age of two, my girls can't quite stay focused enough to color a specific thing, so we made them fall decorative bags.
Take a brown paper bag, and allow the kids to color or paint on them. Once dry, allow them to stuff with newspaper or leaves, and then twist the top, and tie off. If you want to do a pumpkin, just have them color the majority orange, and then draw on a face. The top gets green, and stuff and twist just like above.
My girls are loving carrying these around, and they actually are cute decorations.
